Shipping Policy

Inappropriate Shirts

At Inappropriate Shirts, every item is made specifically for you once your order is placed. Because we use a print-on-demand production process, your order goes through both a production phase and a shipping phase before it reaches your door.

Below is a breakdown of how our shipping process works.


Order Processing & Production Time

All items sold through Inappropriate Shirts are printed and fulfilled through our production partner Printful.

Once an order is placed:

  1. Your order enters production.

  2. The item is printed, quality checked, and packaged.

  3. The package is handed off to the shipping carrier.

Average production time:

  • 2–5 business days

Production time may increase slightly during:

  • Major holidays

  • High-volume sales periods

  • Product launches or promotional events

Please note that production time is separate from shipping time.


Estimated Shipping Times

After production is complete, your order will be shipped using one of our partnered carriers.

United States

Standard Shipping:
3–5 business days

Canada

Standard Shipping:
5–10 business days

International Shipping

Standard Shipping:
10–20 business days

Shipping times may vary depending on:

  • Local postal service performance

  • Customs processing (international orders)

  • Weather conditions

  • Holiday shipping volume


Shipping Rates

At Inappropriate Shirts, shipping costs are charged at a flat rate for orders within the United States.

We do this to keep the checkout experience simple and transparent — no surprise shipping fees at checkout.

United States

Shipping is free on orders of $55 or more

International Orders

For orders outside the United States, shipping costs will apply and will be calculated at checkout based on destination and carrier rates. Free shipping on orders of $55 or more will apply.

International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or other fees charged by their country.


Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update depending on the carrier.

You can use this number to track your package through the carrier’s website.


Split Shipments

Because items are produced in different facilities depending on product type and availability, orders containing multiple items may arrive in separate packages.

If this happens:

  • Each shipment will have its own tracking number.

  • You will receive tracking updates for each package.


International Shipping & Customs

For international orders:

  • Customs fees, import duties, or taxes may apply depending on your country.

  • These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Customers are responsible for any customs fees charged by their country.

We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.


Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Insufficient address

  • Unclaimed package

You may be responsible for additional shipping costs to resend the order.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, Inappropriate Shirts is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be found:

  1. Check with neighbors or household members.

  2. Contact your local postal office.

  3. Reach out to the carrier with your tracking number.

If you still need assistance, you can contact our support team.


Damaged Items or Printing Errors

If your order arrives with:

  • A printing error

  • A damaged product

  • A manufacturing defect

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the issue

We will review the issue and provide a replacement or resolution when appropriate.


Order Changes & Cancellations

Because orders enter production quickly, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has been placed.
